Excellent experience with Elke.  Being new to the Okanagan, I had no idea what to plant and no gardening experience.  

All I knew for sure was I had a big pile of dirt!!!  Elke assessed the area, direction of the sun, and sprinkler system, and took  measurements.  She also saw the interior of my home and decided what look would ‘flow’ from the inside to the outside…like art.      

Then she hatched a plan.  We met at a nursery, and she went over all the plant options/varietals and allowed me to be part of the decision-making process.  I loved it!  AND (a big AND) she stopped me from overplanting!

After all selections were made and plants delivered, Elke placed each and every 115 potted plants to match her design vision.  Because I wanted to plant myself, she guided me through the planting process.  Hole depth, veggie mix, fill, then mulch.  I watered and loved per her instructions and voila! It only took two summers to have a fabulous front yard!

Elke was wonderful to work with.  We recently moved into a new house whose front and back yard was a blank canvas.  We didn’t really know what we wanted, just what we didn’t want!  Elke was able to work with us to identify what kind of plants we wanted, and how to create privacy around our pool and she came up with a fantastic design.  We are looking forward to getting the landscaping started in the next few weeks.  Thank you Elke!

We hired Elke to overhaul our front entrance garden at our family’s property. The garden had been neglected for some years, and we wanted to bring it back to its former glory.

  We appreciated how Elke tried to balance our concerns over maintenance, while still providing a pop of colour. She had a number of new ideas we hadn’t thought of, and especially appreciated her focus on year round visual attractions.

We hope to have Elke back in the future for some other parts of our yard.
